Rheinland-Pfalz

In 2013 I was invited as an artist in residence to paint in Mussbach, a village in the area of Rheinland-Pfalz. Mussbach is a part of the German Wine Route, a beautiful wine area. All the places I have visited before in Germany were big cities, so I was really surprised to discover a very colorful, sunny and warm area of Germany. I spent one very hot, but creative August there.

The following photos are from Mussbach, Roth, Dardesheim and Speyer. This photo collection is just an impression of different places and is here, simply because the most of the people I know have never been there. I was impressed by the rich nature and beautiful clouds. I have been many times in areas in Asia, where the sky is all the time gray, therefore I really appreciate the view of a rich sky full of clouds and colors.

Rheinland-Pfalz, Deutsche Weinstraße

2013 wurde ich als Artist in Residence eingeladen, um in Mußbach, einem Dorf im Rheinland-Pfalz zu malen. Mußbach ist ein Teil der Deutschen Weinstraße, einer schönen Weinregion. Alle Orte, die ich zuvor in Deutschland besucht habe, waren Großstädte, also war ich wirklich überrascht, ein buntes, sonniges und warmes Gebiet in Deutschland zu entdecken. Ich verbrachte einen sehr heißen, aber kreativen August dort.

Die folgenden Fotos stammen von Mußbach, Roth, Dardesheim und Speyer. Diese Fotosammlung ist nur ein Eindruck von verschiedenen Orten und ist hier, einfach weil die meisten Leute, die ich kenne, noch nie dort waren. Ich war beeindruckt von der reichen Natur und schönen Wolken. Ich war oft in Gebieten in Asien, wo der Himmel immer grau ist, daher schätze ich die Aussicht auf einen reichen Himmel voller Wolken und Farben.
